I’m fascinated by all types of narrative media.
From traditional films to episodic television, books, podcasting, journalism, video essays – I am always in awe of what good storytelling can do, of how it can transcend cultural barriers and how essential it is for how we as humans give meaning to our reality.
As a film editor, my job is to structure and shape the sounds, images and rythm that make up any piece of narrative media, all in service of helping the audience experience it in the most memorable and impactful way possible.
I’ve been working in film editorial and postproduction profesionally since 2008. I’m currently residing in Chile and I am available as a remote freelance editor.

That’s my specialty. Executing my client’s vision in a methodical, collaborative and timely fashion.
Postproduction & workflows
I’ve always been fascinated by the logistics of postproduction. It’s not just the machinery, it’s the dozens of individual technical and creative crafts that are quietly weaved together to bring the footage to life.
I’ve been lucky to work on different departments within postproduction on a variety of projects, formats and genres, collaborating with dozens of professional teams.
I’ve worked as an Editor, Online Editor, VFX Editor, I’ve done workflow management and client coordination, I’ve pushed projects through editorial, postproduction, localization, finishing, QC and deliverables for all sorts of local and international distributors, broadcasters and streaming platforms.
Standards, formats and software have all changed radically in the last twenty years – what remains more or less the same is the methodology behind it all.
I try to bring all that knowledge and experience into each project I take on, adapting the process to fit each project’s specific needs and circumstances.
This project required researching, implementing and managing a unique postproduction workflow to accommodate the 700+ digital VFX shots created to bring to life the 16th-century conflict between spanish invaders and the Mapuche people.
