Last year I was asked to re-make a trailer for the international release of the film “To Kill Pinochet”, directed by Juan Ignacio Sabatini.

Here’s the trailer they had:

And here’s the trailer I made for them:

Trailers are the single most important marketing tool any film has.

Audiences are constantly bombarded with a million choices. They have to decide in a matter of seconds if they are interested in the movie before them. A good trailer helps them make that decision.

A trailer is a promise you make to your audience: If you, the audience member, give us a couple of hours of your time, this is what we promise in return…

Maybe it’s the compelling characters, maybe it’s an irresistible premise, maybe it’s simply a good time and a few laughs. No matter the genre or style of the film, a good trailer always has one goal in mind: getting you excited to see this movie.

A good trailer is what bridges the divide between the film we’re about to release and the audience we hope will find it and connect with it – dare I say, share it even?

If you need a trailer for your upcoming project, have any questions regarding the process or you’d just like to say hello, feel free to write me an email: tomas.bianchi@gmail.com
